Not a reference page you close

Read it free. Fork what you need. Bring it into your campaign.

Most spell lists are a wall of text you scroll and forget. Here every entry is a piece of content you can act on. Find the spell or ability you want, fork it into your own copy, tune the wording to fit your table, and it lives in the campaign your party plays.

It is the same fork-and-adapt model as the rest of the marketplace: start from good material, make it yours, and put it to work.

Filter down to the one you want

D&D 5e spells by level, school, class, ritual, and concentration.
Pathfinder 2e spells by rank, tradition, and trait.
Draw Steel hero abilities by class, level, and keyword.

Browse anonymously, no account required. Sign in only to fork an entry or deploy it to your party.

One shelf, three systems

The systems your table plays, side by side.

Most references cover one game. This one holds the spell and ability text for three, so a table that runs more than one system does not need a different site for each.

Compendium FAQ

Quick answers.

Which systems does the compendium cover?

Spells for D&D 5e, drawn from the System Reference Document 5.2.1, and Pathfinder 2e, drawn from Player Core and Player Core 2, plus hero abilities for Draw Steel from Draw Steel: Heroes. That is 1,223 entries in all: 339 D&D 5e spells, 403 Pathfinder 2e spells, and 481 Draw Steel hero abilities. The shelf grows as more books come in.

Do I need an account to read them?

No. Browsing the compendium and reading the full rules text is free and needs no login. You only sign in when you want to fork an entry into your own copy or bring it into your party.

Is this official content?

It is the licensed rules text from each system's open license: D&D under Creative Commons, Pathfinder under the ORC License, and Draw Steel under the Draw Steel Creator License. Attribution rides on every entry, and the full notices are on the licenses page.

Can I use these in my own game?

Fork any spell or ability into your own copy, adjust it to fit your table, and it is yours to use in the campaign you run. The original stays put for the next GM who wants to start from it.
