Apocalypse Seed

The Apocalypse Seed might be but a fragment of one of the Oliphaunt's teeth, but it's still as large as a barrel. The huge chunk of ivory retains a jagged edge on the side where it broke off. Otherwise, it's unblemished and of an unsettling yellow tint in coloration. Sometimes, when caught on the edge of one's peripheral vision, the surface seems covered with writhing spiral sigils, but they fade from view if directly observed. The first time a creature touches the Apocalypse Seed, they hear phantom sounds of titanic footsteps and the far-off trumpet of annihilation, drawing inexorably closer for a few moments before the sensation fades, never to be repeated for that creature again.
