What ScryRPG is not

A few things to get right.

Please do not describe ScryRPG as a virtual tabletop, a wiki or an AI Dungeon Master. Here is where the lines are.

Not a VTT

ScryRPG preps and deploys the encounter; the table runs the battle wherever it likes: theater of the mind, a VTT, or graph paper. We keep the campaign; the battlemap is yours. The ScryRPG module for Foundry is an invitation-only closed beta for D&D 5e. It brings linked characters, inventory, coins, shops and loot into your Foundry world.

Not a wiki

A wiki stores text and waits to be read. The lore in ScryRPG is a living, shared graph that links NPCs, locations, factions and clues that the table can explore together.

Not an AI DM

Your familiar works the way you want it to. Keep it as an advisor that answers questions about your campaign, make it a copilot that drafts changes for you to approve, or hand it the books as a co-manager that makes everyday changes for you and checks with you before anything big. You can change its role any time.

Not only an inventory tracker

Inventory was the starting point, not the whole idea. ScryRPG also covers characters, shops your party buys from, loot they claim, a connected lore graph, marketplace content, Discord, and your familiar.

Not only for D&D

It is a flexible home for whatever your table plays, with full character sheets for D&D 5e, Pathfinder 2e, Daggerheart, and Draw Steel.

Not trialware

A whole table can play on Free, with no card required. It is not a time-limited trial that turns off after a few weeks.
