Flickering

A flickering rune causes a weapon to shimmer, grow blurry and indistinct, and momentarily turn invisible at random intervals for a second or two. A flickering weapon adds its item bonus from its potency rune to the DC against attempts to Disarm or Steal it. On a critical hit, the weapon flashes bright pulses of color into the creature's eyes, Blur to your specification.
