The Cult's Offering Chest

The chest contains stacks of envelopes beside a velvet mantle. Each envelope records an offering. The mantle has been folded so carefully that nobody seems to have dared wear it. The mantle is mundane; a Cloak of Protection, if present, is wrapped separately beneath it. Fill in the coded register's lead before play and use the group's agreed method of splitting loot.

Suggested reward for four characters, levels 5-8. Levels describe the reward, not encounter difficulty. Guaranteed coins and valuables: 600 gp; equipment and magic are extra. Homebrew quantities, drop chances, and trade valuations. Each chance is independent; multiple bonus items or none can appear. Copy this template to adjust it before deploying.
