The Young Dragon's Collection

The dragon sorted its treasure by sound. Silver is piled on bare stone where it rings when disturbed. Gems fill a stolen helmet. A bronze bell hangs over the richest mound, with an embroidered tapestry underneath to catch whatever falls. Three porcelain birds sit on the rim of the helmet. Tap one and it sings three notes. A pair of gloves applauds in embroidered silence. This hoard guarantees flavor magic, four Greater Healing potions, a Potion of Heroism, a Rope of Climbing, and a Wand of Magic Missiles. Extra prizes have independent chances. Choose and balance the dragon encounter separately. The coins weigh 192 lb; establish any hauling constraints before play and honor the party's solutions. A Bag of Holding is a deliberate optional addition if you want carrying capacity to matter less after this adventure.

Suggested reward for four characters, levels 7-10. Levels describe the reward, not encounter difficulty. Guaranteed coins and valuables: 3700 gp; equipment and magic are extra. Homebrew quantities, drop chances, and trade valuations. Each chance is independent; multiple bonus items or none can appear. Copy this template to adjust it before deploying.
