The Court of Final Bargains

This establishment exists in the spaces between worlds, accessible only through doors that appear to those with sufficient reputation or desperation. The Court is tended by an entity known as the Arbiter, who appears differently to each visitor but always speaks in a voice like wind through dead leaves. The items here are not for sale in the traditional sense - the Arbiter trades in favors, memories, years of life, and other currencies that gold cannot measure. Those who leave with the Court's treasures often find the price was steeper than they imagined.
